Director & Registered Manager – Roop Nahil
Care has always been close to my heart. My passion for the care sector began through caring for my grandmother, who lived with dementia, and more recently through caring for my late father, who lived with Parkinsonism and dementia.
These personal experiences, together with nearly ten years working in the care sector, have given me a deep understanding of the importance of compassionate, person-centred care -not only for the individual, but also for the families who support them.
Having worked within residential care, I wanted to bring the same commitment to quality care into people’s own homes. I strongly believe that, wherever possible, people should have the choice to remain in the home they know and love, surrounded by familiar surroundings, memories and routines, while receiving the support they need to remain independent.
As Director and Registered Manager, I am committed to ensuring that Solihull Home Care continues to provide care that is built around each individual. For us, it is about getting to know the person, understanding what matters to them and treating them with the same dignity, kindness and respect that we would want for our own family.
Deputy Manager - Chloe
Chloe's connection with Solihull Home Care began in a very personal way. Her grandfather was cared for by the Solihull Home Care team, and through that experience Chloe saw first-hand the difference that compassionate and respectful care can make to an individual and their family.
This experience inspired Chloe to become part of the team herself, and she has now been with Solihull Home Care for many years. Her personal understanding of care, combined with her experience within the service, brings a genuine warmth and understanding to her role as Deputy Manager.
Chloe is also Natasha's daughter, making the family connection within our team even stronger. Together, they share a genuine commitment to providing care that feels personal, respectful and centred around the individual.
Co-ordinator - Natasha
Natasha, our dedicated Co-ordinator, brings vast experience within the care industry, as well as personal experience of care through her own family. She has a deep understanding of the importance of reliable, compassionate support and the reassurance families need when arranging care for a loved one.
As our Co-ordinator, Natasha plays an important role in organising staff schedules and coordinating care, while ensuring that the individual needs and preferences of the people we support remain at the heart of what we do. Her experience, flexibility and commitment make her an invaluable part of our team.
Nominated Individual/Director – Sunny Nahil
Sunny supports the wider leadership and oversight of Solihull Home Care as our Nominated Individual/Director.
With experience within the care sector and a strong commitment to high standards of care and safety, Sunny works alongside Roop and the wider team to ensure that the service continues to develop while maintaining the values and standards that are important to the people we support.
Sunny takes an active interest in the service and is committed to ensuring that the people we support receive safe, respectful and compassionate care. His support and experience complement the wider team and help us maintain a strong focus on quality, safety and continuous improvement.
