MEDICATION

Medication support

All care workers at Solihull Home Care are trained to provide medication support. During your initial home visit, we'll work with you to create a detailed care support plan that will document any prescriptions you take. Where you'd like, our home carers will prompt and remind you take prescribed medication, and where necessary, physically assist and administer medication. Assisting could include: opening packaging, providing water to take medication, and recording what medication has been taken and when. Administering could include support with liquids, applying creams or instilling eye and eardrops.
